Urgency of the research. Religion in a certain sense contributes to the development of knowledge and technology: considering that at present, the science has become a reference characteristic for major religions and denominations, many of them seek to prove their unique role in the development of high-tech, IT and artificial intelligence (AI).

Target setting. Today, religion has a significant influence on the technological development of mankind, and one aspect of this influence is the ethical issues of the development of combat robots, and the immorality of this phenomenon, in our opinion, surpasses many other precedents of world history.

Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. Religion is one of the most important factors in modern technological politics: the world's religious centers are invariably involved in both political and technological processes, for example, by paying scholarly grants. Religion is often used as an instrument of influence on culture and art: we know the controversial attitude of Christianity to some paintings by Harmens van Rein Rembrandt, Francisco Goya, Peter Paul Rubens, some works including the "Days of Turbines" by Mikhail Opanasovich Bulgakov, "War and peace" by Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy, "Gloomy Morning" by Alexei Nikolayevich Tolstoy, "Shabby Demon" by Fedor Kuzmich Sologub.

The research objective is to consider the discourses of the interaction of religion, technology and culture.

The statement of basic materials. Today, each created robot includes an operating system, which is also a kind of art that absorbed the religious and moral principles of the programmers who created this new mechanical life. Further development of robotics and the emergence of AI form new types of arts that will reflect the outlook of the AI and humanity. The beginning of the 21st century was marked by the emergence of the first patterns of AIs and the multitude of mythologies in this regard.

Conclusions. Religion is one of the most important factors in modern technological politics. On the one hand, technology develops culture, on the other hand, the development of culture and art actualizes the emergence of new technological inventions and discoveries.

Key words: culture, religion, art, technology, robotics, cinema, high-tech, artificial intelligence.
